As you will be aware, since we were banging on about little else in the build up, we were invited along with fellow podcaster Jackson van Uden (of History With Jackson) to do a series of special live recordings from Gloucester History Festival.
So naturally we sent an ambitious list of requests for speakers to interview and Good Lord everybody agreed. We were on to do 6 episodes in 6 days!
When we could tear ourselves away from the excellent buffet in the Writer's Room we got 6 classic rages with Nicola Tallis on Margaret Beaufort, Nathen Amin on Richard III fandom, Gareth Russell and Tracy Borman on Anne Boleyn, Janina Ramirez on the Erasure of Medieval Women and finally Frank McDonough on Weimar.
